Clay masks absorb excess oil and impurities from the skin, unclogging pores and promoting deep cleansing. Masks made with natural clay like bentonite clay or green clay maintain skin balance while effectively combating acne, blackheads, and other skin issues.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons bentonite clay or green clay
- 2 tablespoons organic apple cider vinegar or rose water
- 1 tablespoon organic aloe vera gel
- 2 drops lavender or tea tree essential oil (optional)
Preparation:
- In a bowl, mix bentonite clay or green clay with organic apple cider vinegar or rose water. Be sure to use a non-metallic spoon when mixing.
- Add organic aloe vera gel to the mixture and mix thoroughly.
- If using, add lavender or tea tree essential oil and mix again.
Application:
- Cleanse your face and pat it dry gently.
- Apply the prepared clay mask evenly onto your face, avoiding the eye area.
- Leave the mask on your skin for 10-15 minutes. For first-time users, shorten the duration and observe how your skin reacts.
- Rinse with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry gently.
Allergic Reactions and Precautions:
Discontinue use and consult your dermatologist if you experience any signs of allergic reaction or discomfort during the use of the mask. For sensitive skin, remember that clay masks may dry out the skin. If you feel excessive discomfort as the mask dries, remove it immediately.
