Chamomile Tea Facial Mask

Chamomile tea possesses natural soothing properties, making it an ideal option for sensitive skin. Its anti-inflammatory properties help reduce redness and irritation on the skin. Additionally, the antioxidants found in chamomile tea protect the skin from the harmful effects of free radicals, promoting a healthy complexion.

Ingredients:

  • 2 chamomile tea bags or 2 tablespoons of dried chamomile flowers
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon of organic lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon of organic agave syrup or maple syrup (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Place chamomile tea bags or dried chamomile flowers in a cup or bowl.
  2. Pour boiling water over them and let the tea steep. Allow it to steep for approximately 5-10 minutes.
  3. Strain the steeped tea and let it cool. Optionally, you can add organic lemon juice or organic agave syrup or maple syrup.

Application:

  1. Cleanse your face and pat it dry gently.
  2. Apply the prepared chamomile tea mixture evenly onto your face using a cotton pad or your fingers, avoiding the eye area.
  3. Leave the mask on your skin for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Rinse off with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry gently.

Allergic Reactions and Precautions:

Chamomile tea is generally safe for the skin; however, if you experience any signs of allergic reaction or discomfort during the use of the mask, discontinue use and consult your dermatologist. Avoid applying this mask if you have a chamomile allergy. Prolonged use may lead to skin sensitivity or dryness, so it is advisable to consult a professional before regular use.
